A Free Alternative to nibble app: your bite of knowledge

Micro learning games

Are you looking for an alternative to nibble app? Do you want to use microlearning games to study history, literature, geography, and languages but are looking for options?

Nibble: Your Bite of Knowledge is a platform that offers bite-sized educational content on various topics to help users expand their knowledge quickly and easily.

This website, MemoryWizards, also offers micro-learning topics, with games that can be played in 5-minute periods. I didn’t learn of Nibble until I started building this website. While I didn’t intend to build this website as an alternative to nibble app, that is how most people refer to it.

I’ve never used the Nibble app, but I enjoy their ads, and there is obviously some overlap in content.

Content Offered

Memory Wizards offers games in languages, history, literature, geography, and biographies. In 2025, I plan to add Science and Philosophy.

Nibble doesn’t offer languages, but it does have history and literature. It also includes science, philosophy, logic, and economics.

Free vs. Paid

The most significant difference between MemoryWizards and Nibble is that Nibble offers no free content. You must first subscribe to get a taste of what you are paying for. This is currently around $60 a year.

MemoryWizards offers approximately 20% of the content free of charge. Paid subscriptions start at $9 a month or $55 a year.

Company Comparison Overview

Nibble is an app released by a company called Headway. Their main app, which is for business book summaries, is also called Headway. According to their website, their team has over 300 specialists working in Kyiv and Warsaw.

Memory Wizards is just one person and three cats. I don’t want to get into office politics, but the cats are not very helpful. I’m an American expat living in rural Thailand, which gives me a good perspective on language and history learning.

Community Engagement

I could not find any community engagement for Nibble besides comments on their Facebook ads and a contact form on their website.

Conclusion

So, is Memory Wizards a suitable alternative to the nibble app? Only you can judge that. The good news is that trying it will cost you nothing.

If you have any requests, please feel free to send them, and I promise to do my best.
