Grammar Guru: Gender Agreement

In Hebrew, the adjectives used to describe a person’s job must agree in gender with the person they are describing. For example, if a man is a doctor, you would say רופא גבר (rofeh gever), but if a woman is a doctor, you would say רופאה אישה (rofah isha). Pay attention to gender when describing occupations!
