Language Lesson: Classroom Gender

In Hebrew, nouns have gender. The word for ‘classroom’ is כיתה (kitah), which is feminine. When referring to ‘the classroom,’ you would use the feminine definite article ה (ha) to say הכיתה (ha-kitah). Pay attention to gender when using nouns in Hebrew!
