Grammar Tip: Verb Placement in German Sentences

In German sentences, the verb is usually placed in the second position. However, in subordinate clauses, the verb is placed at the end. This means that the conjugated verb comes second in main clauses, but last in subordinate clauses. Remember this rule when forming sentences with common verbs in German!
