Language Tip: Days and Weeks

In Chinese, the days of the week are not capitalized. Also, the week starts on Monday, not Sunday. So, remember that Sunday is 星期天 (xīngqītiān), while Monday is 星期一 (xīngqīyī). This cultural difference is important to keep in mind when learning the days of the week in Chinese.
