About This Challenge

Gestures play a significant role in communication in Afrikaans culture, conveying meanings and emotions that words may sometimes fail to express. To further explore this aspect of Afrikaans communication, we have designed a listening and recognition quiz game that challenges players to match spoken words or phrases with their correct translations in Afrikaans.

  • The game tests players’ listening skills as they hear words or phrases spoken in Afrikaans.
  • Players must then select the correct translation from multiple choices provided in the same language.
