About This Challenge

Sir Edmund Hillary was a renowned mountaineer who became the first person to reach the summit of Mount Everest. In honor of his incredible accomplishment, we have created a timeline game that challenges players to place historical events in their correct chronological order.

  • Players will test their knowledge of key moments in Sir Edmund Hillary’s life
  • Events will include his successful Everest expedition, his later philanthropic work, and other significant milestones

  • 1953: Receives knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II
  • 1958: Becomes the first person to reach both the North and South Poles
